Donald D. Jamison, age 74, of St. Rte. 103, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2004 following a short illness. He was born July 23, 1929 in North Fairfield, OH and has lived most of his life in Willard.
He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard. He was a former Auxiliary Deputy Sheriff in Huron County. He was a Past Master of Golden Rule Lodge # 562; Past High Priest of Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Ohio; Past Illustrious Master of Grand Council Royal & Select Masons of Ohio;Past Commander of Norwalk # 18;Member of Commandery DeMolay # 9 in Tiffin; Knight of the York Cross of Honour; Firelands Scottish Rite Assoc. of Valley of Toledo; Superior Chapter # 328 of OES; life member of the NRA; life member of the North American Hunting Club; life member of Buckingham Dermer # 514; member of the Willard Eagles and the Norwalk VFW. He was a Navy Veteran during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, June L. (Predmore) Jamison; daughter & son-in-law, Janet L. & Randall H. Dawson of Willard; 4 grandchildren, Renee Dawson, Roxanne Babcock, Tiffany Bechtel and Nathan Ream; 4 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Leo Allen & Janice Jamison of Willard.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, Donald A. & Alice A. (Newman) Jamison; infant son, Thomas Dean Jamison; daughter, Paula Ream; grandson, Ryan Dawson.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where there will be a Masonic Service at 6:30 P.M. The Funeral Service will be Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home, with Rev. Kent Wilson officiating. Burial will be at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth, OH. Memorials may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church.
