Donna Forehand, 82, of Tiro, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 19, 2026. Born June 15, 1944, in Lewis County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Harry and Dorothy (Eulett) Bloomfield. A faithful servant of God, devoted wife, and loving mother and grandmother, Donna touched countless lives through her faith, kindness, and unwavering love for her family.
Donna is survived by her loving husband, John Forehand; her children, Kim (Andy) Heydinger, Kelly (Jack) Carney, Jay (Emily) Forehand, and Rocky Forehand; her grandchildren, Kyle (Taylor) Carney, Adam (Cori) Heydinger, Paul (Abbigail “Abbie”) Heydinger, Alex Forehand, and Jake Forehand; and her great-granddaughter, Tegan Carney, with one additional great-grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her siblings, Rosa (late James “Jim”) Quaintance, Harry (Debbie) Bloomfield, and John (Kim) Bloomfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Lillie (late Everett “Pete”) Gulley, Roger (Linda) Bloomfield, Patricia “Patti” Echelberry, and Mary Katherine Bloomfield.
She found joy in life's simple pleasures and spent much of her time doing the things she loved. She enjoyed taking walks outdoors, admiring hummingbirds, and expressing her sense of style through elegant jewelry and fashion. She had a love for sports and recreation, especially softball, golf, swimming, and fishing with her family, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come. She was known for always driving a sporty car and embracing life with energy and enthusiasm. A gifted pianist, she faithfully shared her musical talents at the Church of God of Prophecy, where she played for the Lord and served through music for many years.
Calling hours will be held at Secor Funeral Home in New Washington, Ohio, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Immediately following the calling hours, a brief funeral service officiated by Pastor Nathan Hale will be held at the funeral home. Burial will take place afterward at Attica-Venice Cemetery, and family and friends are welcome to attend.
