Donna Funk, age 79, formerly of Willard, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2011 in Camp Verde, AZ. She was born on July 28, 1932 in North Fairfield, Ohio to the late Tom and Blanche (Barnett) Bailey. She was a member of the Church of God in Dewey, AZ.
She had lived the last 6 years with her son and daughter-in-law, who survive her, David and Pat Funk of Dewey, AZ. She is also survived by two sisters, Carol Long of Shelby and Wilma Jane Boetcher of New Haven; brother, Lloyd Bailey of Willard; numerous nieces and nephews; two grandsons, Russell Walker of Bellville and Robert Walker of Bellville; one granddaughter, Trisha Vaughn Walker of Boise, Idaho; nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Dennis Funk and husband, Donald G. Funk.
A graveside service will be held at Greenfield Township Cemetery in Steuben, Ohio on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Lloyd Bailey officiating. Memorials can be made to Christy Lane School. Secor Funeral Home in Willard assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.secorfuneralhomes.com

To the family of Donna Funk. So sorry to hear of Donnas passing… I knew her well. As i made salsa to can this year , on the top of the recipe was “by Donna Funk ” my best salsa ever… I had to stop and think of her . We both loved to cook and exchanged recipes…. as long as i make salsa , it will be her recipe..
