Doris V. (Mortiz) Egner, age 79, resident of Shiloh passed away Wednesday morning, January 7, 2004 in Willard Mercy Hospital. Mrs. Egner was born November 23, 1924 in Shiloh to the late Clayton and Goldie (Miller) Moritz, she had been a Shiloh area resident her entire life. Mrs. Egner was a graduate of Shiloh High School and a homemaker. She was a member of the Mt. Hope Lutheran Church, the White Hall Club and the Richland County Farm Bureau.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Barbara Egner of Plymouth; two granddaughters, Melissa and Michelle Egner; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Egner in 1991; and one brother, Don Moritz.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth on Friday from 5-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM at the Mt. Hope Lutheran Church in Shiloh with Pastor Dian Seaman officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial expressions can be made to the Mt. Hope Lutheran Church.
