DORIS REYNOLDS RUSSELL
MACON, GA – Doris Reynolds Russell, 81, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2005.
Mrs. Russell, wife of the late Harold L. Russell, was born in Shiloh, Ohio to the late Dewey Q. and Fern L. Reynolds. She was a Registered Nurse retired from Coliseum Medical Centers and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Russell was a member of Oakland Hills Country Club in Rotonda West, Florida where she enjoyed golfing.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David Russell and Cindy Russell, both of Washington, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Leslie and Derrell Parker of Shalimar, FL and Becky and Bill Lee of Macon; seven grandchildren, Todd Alligood, Jeff Lee, Amy Parker, Matthew Parker, Ben Lee, Adam Russell and Delaney Russell; three great grandchildren, Ashlyn Alligood, Jacob Lee and Wick Lee; her sister, Eileen Reynolds of Shelby, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Friday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue, Macon, GA and 6 – 7 p.m., Sunday at Secor Funeral Home, Plymouth, Ohio. The funeral services will be Monday, June 6, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mt. Hope Lutheran Church in Shiloh. Burial will be at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh. They ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Central Georgia Alzheimer’s Association, Suite 201, 277 Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, Macon, GA 31201 or to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 2065, Macon, GA 31203.
