THE CLAYTON LOEHN FAMILY - Jan 11, 2009

To the family, we are so saddened to know of the loss of your loved one , and a much loved neighbor. No matter the season, all we had to do is look across the street and there he was. Always outside doing something, mowing lawn, mulching leaves, gardening, snowblowing his drive, even ours at times . He always greeted us with a smile and wave. Took the time of day to visit. In our minds and hearts you ARE doing something outside . I say ‘ is ‘ because whenever we look across the street, in our minds eye ,and hearts, we will see you there doing the things you so love. I know we will meet again, hopefully,on our lawn mowers in the sunshine ! You just got there before me. Velma, as I’ve said before, YOU have such a loveing family, always there for you, they are always there for you. May God wrap you in his arms, put your head on His chest and comfort you,now and always.
Neighbors forever,Sharon,Clayton,and family.

To Velma and Family:
I was very saddened to learn of Edd’s passing. He was one of the very few premier friends I have had the honor of knowing and working with for over fifty years. A man of exemplary character, he will be missed and remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Wow where to start…I thought life as I knew it ended last night when I got the news that grandpa had passed away! He was the “man” in our family! Us girls loved him with all we had. He was the world to us!
I sat in the hospital the day before he passed away just looking at his hands. I thought how much he had labored with them to provide for grandma and us girls over the years. He was a hard working man. He would do anything for anyone. He has touched many people over the years. The world has lost a wonderful man.

My grandparents have been our families strength, faith and hope as long as I can remember. You couldn’t ask for a better couple! Grandpa was stern, but loving. Never had to say a word, you just got “the look” We are so proud of him!
And now all of us are thankful that he isn’t suffering any longer and that he has gone on to be with Jesus! Rest in peace grandpa! We love you and will miss you dearly!
