Ella Mae Hamons, age 66, resident of Shiloh, Ohio, and formerly of Greenwich, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at her home with her loved ones. Ella was born on October 11, 1953, in New Haven, Ohio, to the late Charity Shepherd Lacy.

She was a homemaker most of her life. Ella loved to spread the word of Jesus. She loved her children and grandchildren and watching them grow. Most of all, she loved the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ella is survived by her children, Josh (Gwen) Hamons of Bellevue, Ohio, Jon Hamons, Sissy (Rory) Kuhn of Shiloh, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Linda Hamons of Bellevue, Ohio; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Chaddock and Rita Tolle; six brothers, Ronald Lacy, Glen Lacy, James Lacy, Gary Lacy, Duane Lacy, Todd Lacy; a step daughter, Debra Stahl; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Melvin Hamons; a brother, Charles Bo Lacy; and three step sons, Melvin Ray, Doyle J, and Lyle R. Hamons.

Friends and family may gather at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, where the funeral service will be at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Bill Howell officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven. Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio. Sorry to hear about Elle. Elle and her family lived next to us in Steuben, I was very young then but I remember that she was the nicest lady. Heaven called her back home way to early.
