Elzie Eugene “Butch” Baugh, age 50, resident of Shiloh, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 26, 2005 at his home. He was born May 2, 1954 in Willard and had been a resident of the Willard area most of his life. He was a graduate of the Northwestern College in Lima and a veteran of the US Navy serving during Vietnam. Butch was a truck driver for Country Metals and a former employee of Wiers’ Farms. He was a member of the VFW Post 3430 in Willard. Butch enjoyed riding motorcycles, being with his friends, playing pool and cards, and talking on his CB using the handle “Geronimo”.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie (Schulte) Baugh whom he wed on June 28, 1991; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Eva M. and Richard Parker Jr. of Willard, Rachelle R. and Michael Stephens of Shiloh, and Charity L. Baugh at home; two sons and a daughter-in-law, William H. and Alisa Baugh of Willard, and Kory E. Baugh at home; one granddaughter; two grandsons; his father, Donald H. Baugh of Shiloh; two brothers, Richard Baugh of Mansfield and Donald Baugh Jr. of Shelby; and four sisters, Margene Thompson of Shelby, Brenda Paynter of Grahn, KY, Catherine Fisher of Shiloh, and Patricia Detillion of Loudonville. He is preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Baugh; one grandson, Jackson X. Baugh; and one sister, Cheryl Baugh.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at the 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the Messiah House of Prayer in Shiloh with Pastor Bill Howell officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Shiloh Cemetery. Memorial expressions can be made to the family.
