Esther P. Hamman, age 100, formerly of Shiloh, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the Vancrest of Convoy Care Center in Convoy, Ohio. She was born on May 15, 1913 in Vanlue, Ohio to the late Harry and Ferry (Launder) Pratt and had been a Shiloh resident since 1932. She married Donald H. Hamman in 1935 and lived at 61 W. Main Street in Shiloh, Ohio for many years. She was a homemaker and a school teacher for the Shiloh and Plymouth Village Schools. She was a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church and the Shelby Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Her husband preceded her in death in 1962 and a daughter, Jane in 2011.
She is survived by 4 children, Jean and her family, Judy and her family, Jane’s family, James and his family, and John and his family.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 9th, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions should be made to the Shiloh United Methodist Church, 58 W.
