Ethel was a one of those people who made you smile and made the day a little brighter by being in her presence. I loved the way she would dress up and be in bright colors with her hair all curled up and her jewerly complimenting her. She said all girls deserve a little bling bling. She was the best of aunts and I will miss her greatly. She loved her children and grandchildren with a deep love and so do they in return. A truely good hearted person who enjoyed life. I love you Ethel

Everyone should be so lucky as to have Ethel as a neighbor. We will miss her smile and waves and side-yard visits. One of our last conversations centered around our certainty of heaven. I know she is there now, smiling down at the family she loved so much.

It just seems like yesterday everyone was with us.I can close my eyes and hear and see all of us happy with your Mom, our Dad, Aunt Catherine, and the other family members we have lost.I remember being a little girl and I was always in awe of what a beautiful lady your Mom was but as I grew older I also learned she was a beautiful person on the inside as well.I know its hard to look ahead without her but she would want it no other way. When your heart gets weary just remember she is in heaven reunited with your Dad and watching over all of you.

I am so sorry to hear about Ethel’s passing. I used to work with her at RRD, and she had the most wonderful outlook on life. She always had a smile on her face, and when she giggled, you just couldn’t help but giggle with her. As someone else said, she was beautiful, both inside and out. She will be greatly missed.

Margie Hamilton Hall - Jan 17, 2012

Harold, Forrest, Jeanette, and Tanya. It seems like yesterday we were all little and playing in the barn or big tree at grandma and grandpas on Swanger Road. We never knew about loss, but you guys found out early what it was all about. Then it happened again, and now your mom. I am so sorry for all of you. I know it hurts, but when you miss her the most, think about the joy she is experiencing that we can not imagine. She just left you guys to soon, just like the others. As family all of us cousins will always be there for each other. We love you guys!

We are so sorry to hear of Ethel’s passing. I’m so glad we were able to visit with her in October and I regret that the weather prevented us from making the trip last weekend, like we had planned. She was always such a sincere, friendly, and hard-working lady. I know you will miss her, and I hope it helps to know she is in a better place.
