Eugene Walter McClintock, age 72, passed away at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. He was born on November 22, 1937 in Grafton, Ohio to the late Lilian McClintock. He was employed with General Motors and was a US Marine Veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Phyllis (Logan) McClintock; two sons, Danny (Dawn) McClintock of Florida and Ricky (Becky) McClintock of Elyria; five step-children, James (Sabrina) Logan of Indiana, Patricia (Mitch) Logan of Elyria, Paula J. (Dave) Miller of Michigan, DeAnn Logan of Texas and Joel (Selina) Logan of Indiana; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian McClintock; grandparents, Milo and Lillian McClintock and two step-children, Phyllis Jean and Jay Logan.
Funeral services will take place in Elyria, Ohio and are pending. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com

Our thoughts and prayers are with our dear friends. We will sure miss Gene. Every time we came to the house for a visit, he made us feel so welcome, just like one of the family. He had a big heart. He will be greatly missed.
Mac and Phyllis have ALWAYS been so good to me.I will miss my friend. May God comfort you Phyilis.

As I write this I cry, Everyone new Butch(Grandpa)as a hard core person in which, I have to admit he was. Yet as he was tuff, I could deal with it. Him and my grandma was always there for me and included me in their trips every Sept.At a hard time they wanted to take me in to raise me I choose not to yet I loved them.And that was mainly him he made me do some things that was hard to do but I earned the $ he promise when it was done.I might of bit off more than I can I chew. But he said this needs done the right way.I learned you have to earn your keep, at times I fell short to what I learned. But never the less it was install me. And I have HIM to thank for that. I got him.Some may have not but I did.I will always miss our trips and remember them dearly to be honest I never forgot!!! I Love you and now you can rest and be nice up there:)I BELIEVE THE MAN UP THERE WILL GIVE YOU A RUN FOR YOUR COIN.R.I.P GRANDPA X0X0X0X LOVE ALWAYS WINDY :)xoxoxox
My great grandpa Butch was the olny great grandpa I hade. And he was funny and cool and I will love him 4 ever. Now he is in a good place love U grandmua!!
My thoughts are with my old friends. I will always remember the dune buggy Butch made when we all lived on Park ave in Elyria. Danny and Ricky my prayers are with you guys and the rest of the family. Take care, Bob
Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. Butch was always a nice break in our day when he would come by to visit us at the shop. He always had great stories to tell. He will be sadly missed.
my great grandpa butch was the only great grandpa i had and to me i think he was the greatest grandpa i ever had and he was nice to me in my eyes and there will never be one like him and i love u grandma and hope you are ok throgh these hard times
