Evelyn L. Heydinger

Evelyn L. Heydinger, age 94, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at The Willows at Willard. She was born on February 10, 1931 in Richmond Township, Ohio to the late William Newmeyer and Dollie (DeWitt) Newmeyer Moore.

Evelyn was a 1949 graduate of New Haven High School who went on to work for RR Donnelley & Sons. She was a past member of the Plymouth United Methodist Church and enjoyed bowling and traveling. She liked to do arts and crafts and was most fond of the time she spent with her family.

She is survived by her son, Keith D. Heydinger of New Washington; four grandchildren, Jason Heydinger of New Washington, Jessica (Vergil) Miller of Plymouth, Kari Branham of New Washington and Joseph Heydinger of Greenwich; twelve great grandchildren, Alexandria and Victoria Miller, Kaydence, Jennalyn, Liana and Aden Heydinger, Keyli Woolridge, Walker and Waylynn Branham and Dayne, Jeriah and Hunter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Heydinger who she married on February 26, 1955 and he passed away on January 9, 2022; son, Rodney Heydinger; and two sisters, Jennie Mahl and Annajeane Robinson.

A private burial will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven in the spring of 2026. Secor Funeral Home in Willard is honored to be assisting Evelyn’s family with her funeral arrangements.
