Faris Tuttle, age 88, resident of Shiloh, Ohio passed on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital. He was born on June 7, 1928 at the Mullins Branch in Kite, Kentucky to the late Abel and Rosie (Thornsberry) Tuttle. He was formerly employed as a supervisor at Taylor Metal. He was a member and Elder of the Little Rebecca Old Regular Baptist Church in Plymouth, Ohio.
He is survived by three children, Veronda Kay Tuttle of Shiloh; Lois (Glen) Slone of Crestline; and Doyle Keith (Debbie) Tuttle of Willard; seven grandchildren, Jackie Bolen of Shiloh; Tony Bolen of Plymouth; Scott (Amy) Slone of Shelbyville, KY; Crystal Sexton of Ontario, OH; Chris (Tracy) Slone of Knoxville, TN; Aaron Tuttle of Willard; and Nathan (Melissa) Tuttle of Midland, MI; fifteen great grandchildren; a sister, Gladys Hall of Lagrange, OH; four brothers, Arthur, Chester, Denny Tuttle all of Willard, and Willard Tuttle of Greenwich; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Verniece (Caudill) Tuttle; and two brothers, Talt and Olby Tuttle.
Visitation will be held at the Little Rebecca Old Regular Baptist Church, 4982 Henry Road in Plymouth, Ohio on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM with church services at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the church on Saturday at 11:00 AM with the Elders of the church officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh, Ohio. Memorial contributions can be made to Little Rebecca Church or the OhioHealth Hospice, 335 Glessner Ave. Mansfield, OH 44903. Online condolences can be made at www.secorfuneralhomes.com

For as long as i knew him hes always been a cheerful man, even though times may have been tough he always stayed strong and positive for the sake of the family. Kay and the rest of the family. We were so saddened to hear of the going home of our friend Feris. He was a dear and loving friend and a brother in Christ.
