Franklin Nester, age 73, resident of Willard, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 4, 2020, at St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on May 21, 1947, to the late Willie and Gertrude (Steffey) Nester.
Frank previously worked for Sheller Globe and was a truck driver for numerous companies. His hard work ethic was displayed when he acquired his current position as a greeter for Walmart.
A true man of faith, Frank was an Evangelist to the area churches. He never knew a stranger and those he came into contact with never left without hearing one of his famous stories.
Frank's family gave him ambition to do well in life. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Linda (Sexton) Nester, whom he married on September 3, 1966; daughter, Kathy (Luis) Belmares; three grandchildren, Luis Jr., Matthew and Hannah Belmares; two great grandchildren, Maleigha Billey and Elliana Belmares; two brothers, Billy Nester and John (Ella Mae) Nester; two sisters, Irene (Clayton) Bartow and Edie (Gene) Fritz; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by two brothers, Herman and Bobby Ray Nester; an infant brother, James Nester; and sister, Phyllis Geraldine Taylor.
