Gary Click, age 70, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 9, 1953 to Jerry Click Jr. and Neva (Spears) Rodriguez. Gary was employed by MTD in Willard, for 46 years and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Willard Conservation league, where he enjoyed meeting up with his friends weekly. Gary was an avid deer hunter and golfer. He enjoyed his time delivering flowers for Grandma Violet’s.
Gary is survived by his wife Julie (Wilhelm) Click, whom he married on February 20, 1976; children, Jeff (Lisa) Click, Bonnie (Josh) Mahl; his four grandchildren who in his eyes could do no wrong, Riley and Brady Click, Peyton and Bryer Mahl; father, Jerry Click Jr.; mother, Neva Rodriguez; siblings, Glenn (Jean) Click, Kim (Bob) Wilhelm, Kathy Spencer, Keith Click and Lisa (Leo) Harris; half siblings, Carla (Mike) Oney, Marla (Chuck) Flood and Gabriella Rodriguez.
He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Lorrene Click; father-in-law, Leonard P. “Pete” Wilhelm; sister-in-law, Tonya Wilhelm and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends and family may gather on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Gary’s funeral service will be held following the calling hours, beginning at 12:00 p.m. with Deacon Mike Wasiniak officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Memorial contributions can be made to Cancer Tees Me Off in Sandusky, Ohio or Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio. I have not seen Gary for years, but seeing his picture brought back memories of wonderful, fun days when he sang in St. Francis Xavier choir. Choir practice was always interesting with the guys in the back row. And the choir was good at singing, too. I extend my sympathy to all of his family. That smile will be missed for sure.
