Gladys A. Watkins, age 53, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Monday, September 17, 2007 in Willard Mercy Hospital. She was born on May 5, 1954 in Fremont, Ohio to the late Harry and Mary (Fleming) Watkins and has been a life long Willard resident. She enjoyed reading and was a loving mother.
She is survived by her two daughters, Tiffany Watkins of Columbus; and Saber Watkins of Willard; a granddaughter, Janiah Watkins; twin brother, Harry Watkins of Willard; an aunt, Ida Mae Thompson of Mansfield; three uncles and an aunt, Royal and Martha Doster of Willard, Web Fleming of Cleveland; and James Fleming of Willard; a close family friend, Andrew Fagan of Shelby; a host of cousins and other family.
Gladys’ wishes were to have her body donated to the medical sciences. A memorial sevice to honor her life will be held on Friday, September 21, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Willard at 8:00 PM with Reverend Jeffrey Jones officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the children.
