Glenn E. Kaple, "Bo", age 74, of Tiro, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022 in Akron, Ohio. He was born on April 14, 1948, in Bucyrus, Ohio, to the late Grover and Frances (Hiler) Kaple. Glenn was a 1967 graduate of Buckeye Central High School, served in the National Guard and was a machinist at Timken Company in Bucyrus. He loved motorsports, especially drag racing, was a gun enthusiast, and loved being outdoors and mowing his yard.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie (Cotsamire) Kaple; son, Dr. Eric Kaple of Willard, Ohio; step children, Kellie (Phil) Ondich of Bucyrus, Ohio; Michael (Haley) Richardson of Bucyrus, Ohio; step grandchildren, Gabrielle (Andrew) Henderson of Chicago, Illinois; Zane Richardson of Toledo, Ohio; and Donna Richardson of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Marcine (Bob) Taylor of Powell, Ohio; sister-in-law, Norma Kaple of New Washington, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Glenn is preceded in death by a brother, Grover (Junior) P. Kaple and a son, Ean Kaple.
Visitation will be on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Secor Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until the time of his service at 12:00 PM with Fr. Michael Diemer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery in New Washington, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Akron Children's Hospital Burn Unit.
