Guadalupe Loera, age 75, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 in the University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born on September 26, 1932 to the late Benjamin and Cruz (Galvis) Godines and had been a resident of Willard since 1970. She attended the First Assembly of God Church in Willard and was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Esther Ancheyta of Willard, Maria Gloria McCoy of Willard; and Ramona Sanchez of Willard; six sons, Jesus Loera of Norfolk, VA; Hector Loera of Findlay; Alex Loera of Corpus Christi, TX; Danny Loera of Mansfield; David (Peggy) Loera of New London; and Luis Loera of Willard; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one sister, Eva Ruiz of Alice, TX; three brothers, Jesus Godines of Alice, TX, Elpidio Godines of Alice, TX; and Victor Godines of San Antonio, TX.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Gregorio R. Loera; three sons, Gregorio Jr., Juan and Carlos Loera; two daughters, Sylvia L. Wetmore and Erma Loera; and one brother, Manuel Godines.
Friends may call at the First Assembly of God Church in Willard on Friday, September 19, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where the funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM with Pastor John Baich officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the family and left in care of Luis Loera. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard.
