Imogene Gayheart, age 65, resident of Shelby, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at MedCentral Hospital in Mansfield, Ohio. She was born on November 5, 1945 in Topmost, Kentucky to the late Carlos and Dina (Thornsberry) Caudill. Imogene retired from Edge Plastics of Mansfield and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Tommy Gayheart; son, Jeffrey Scott (Sheila) Gayheart of Mansfield; four daughters, Tabitha Gayheart of Plymouth, Tammy (Leroy) Carrington of Plymouth, Melissa Mason of Willard and April Brewer of Crestline; nine grandchildren, Morgan, Travis, Kyle, Pumpkin, Torrie, Xander, Allen, Tyler and Michael; two step-grandchildren, Cory and T.J. and two brothers, Bobby Gene Caudill of Seattle, Washington and Eugene Caudill of New Haven.
She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Friends may call on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at the Tiro United Baptist Church in Tiro, Ohio from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Merlin Dye officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven, Ohio. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com.

I miss you so much! you weren’t just my mom you were my best friend. i know you’re not in pain anymore…but my heart is breaking. theres not a day that will go by that I won’t think of you and miss you.
