Ishmael Barnett, age 67, resident of Laurel St.., Willard passed away Staurday, February 7, 2004 in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born June 24, 1936 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late W.O. and Delphia (Risner) Barnett he had been a Willard resident the majority of his life. Mr. Barnett was a retired engineer from the B & O Railroad and a member of the Willard United Baptist Church, N. Fairfield Masonic Lodge #261 F&AM, Golden Rule Chapter #167 RAM and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Toledo.
He is survived by two sons, Terry Barnett and Tony Barnett both of Willard; one daughter, Theresa Barnett of Willard; one grandson, Jordan Barnett; two sisters, Emma Smith of Plymouth; Linda Faye King of Reynoldsburg, OH; three brothers, Melvin Barnett and Kenneth Barnett both of Willard; Robert Barnett of Plymouth; nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by one sister, Thelma Jean Barnett; one brother, James D. Barnett.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where masonic services will be held at 8:45 PM. Funeral services will be held at the Willard United Baptist Church on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Pastors James Wilson and Danny Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven. Memorial expressions can be made to Huron County Kidney Center.
