Jack W. Howard, age 81, resident of Willard for the past 30 years, passed away Wed., Dec. 29, 2004 at the Willard Mercy Hospital in Willard, OH. He was born on December 4, 1923 to the late Walter and Jeannette (Sampson) Howard. He was a retired salesman for Electrolux Sweepers and was an Army Veteran in Company B, 275th Engineer Battalion in W.W.II.
He is survived by one daughter, Carol Coppler of Bucyrus; three sons, John Howard of Denver CO, Robert Howard of Newport News, Virginia and David Howard of Carey, Ohio; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruth Howard of Canton, Ohio and Wilma Dean of London, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Catherine ( David) Howard; his parents, Walter and Jeannette (Sampson) Howard; and one sister, Evelyn Dixson and a grandson, Todd Immel.
Visitation will be Monday from 1-2 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where the funeral service will be Monday at 2:00 P.M., with Pastor Tim Bancroft officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, OH.
