James M. McCoy, age 70, of Willard, Ohio passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Fisher-Titus Hospital in Norwalk, Ohio. He was born January 30, 1945 in Pennington Gap, VA to the late Edward and Grace (Gibson) McCoy. He enjoyed cookouts and most of all, spending time with his famliy.
He is survived by 4 daughters, April (George) Hudson of North Fairfield, Kara (Randy) Hatfield of North Fairfield, Theresa (Charlie) Malloy of Brooksville, FL and Patricia (Tony) Johnson of Brooksville, FL; 2 sons, Shane (Amber) McCoy of Ashland and James McCoy Jr. of Brooksville, FL; 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Charlie (Rita) McCoy of Michigan, Ruffus McCoy of Michigan and Jimmy (Anita) McCoy of Greenwich; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Grace McCoy; daughter, Tonya McCoy Hudson; brother, Carl McCoy and 2 sisters, Lucy McCoy; and Louetta McCoy.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio, where the funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. The burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Willard, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com
