James Scott Herner, age 61, died unexpectedly at his home in Tampa, Florida on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. He was born on April 2, 1964 in Willard, Ohio to Larry and Mary Ann (Cavello) Herner.
Scott was a Willard High School graduate, and after graduation he went on to live in Tampa, Florida. While living in Florida, he worked as a landscaper. Scott was a very talented artist.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Herner; brothers, Mike (Kelly) Herner, John Herner, and Bob (Nikki) Herner; a sister, Kathy Sledge (Brent Willingham); along with several nieces and nephews.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Larry Herner and baby sister, Laura Herner.
