Janet L. Miller, age 88, of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at the Willows at Willard. She was born on May 9, 1937 to the late James and Lucille (Daup) Russell. Janet grew up in Ganges and worked many years at Plymouth Schools and retiring from South Central Schools where she oversaw the cafeteria. She also was an EMT for Shiloh Fire Dept. for many years. Janet loved music and taught many how to play piano and organ.
She is survived by her children, James (Cathy) Miller of Shiloh, Ohio; Joseph (Chris) Miller of Shiloh, Ohio; Jerry Miller of Shiloh, Ohio; Jesse (Julene) Miller of Harvest, Alabama; and Janelle (Mike) Grube of Bucyrus, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred George Miller and a sister, Marlene Lehman.
Visitation will be Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Monday, June 9, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the time of her service at 1:00 PM with Pastor Steve Baldridge officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shiloh Fireman’s Association.
