Joanne Marvin, age 88, resident of Ashland, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Brookwood Place Assisted Living in Ashland, Ohio. She was born on April 22, 1929 in Greenwich, Ohio to the late Charles and Vera (Strimple) Smith.
She is survived by her three daughters, Susan (David) Wilbur of Mansfield, OH, Cathy Moore of Malvern, PA and Nancy (Chris) Hunt of Flora, IL.; four grandchildren, Brett (Alisa) Wilbur of Cos Cob, CT, Erika (Kasra) Yazdanbakhsh of San Rafael, CA, Greg Hunt of Boston, MA. and Stacy Hunt of Chicago, IL.; a great grandson, James Wilbur; a brother-in-law, Richard Ross of Warren, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Joyce Smith of Shiloh, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, James P. Moore; her 2nd husband, Albert E. Marvin; three sisters, Jean Wolfe, Audrey Laser, Verna Ross; and a brother, Robert Smith.
