Joe W. Reed, age 83, of Plymouth, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on April 29, 1941, in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Greely and Eulah (Patton) Reed.

Joe was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a member of the coon hunters club and the Willard Conservation League for over 40 years. Joe loved to watch sports, but especially baseball. He would travel all over the place to watch his kids and grandkids play baseball.

Joe is survived by his wife, Pina (Morgan) Reed; son, Robert (Jennifer) Reed; grandchildren, Ryan (Sarah) Reed, Stephanie Reed, Dylan (Camryn) Reed, Andrew (Sabrina) Reed and Nathan Reed; great grandchildren, Lily and Saylor; sisters, Betty (Bartley) Slone and Jan Lathrope.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 2 sons, Timothy (Tembra) Reed and Jonathan S. Reed; daughter, Tammy (Steve) Stover; 2 brothers and a sister

Calling hours will be on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Little Rebecca Old Regular Baptist Church in Plymouth, Ohio from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Joe’s funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. with Elder Phillip Beverly officiating.
