Joeanna “Jody” Swint, age 56, resident of Sandusky Ohio, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2010 at the Gaymont Nursing Home in Norwalk, Ohio. She was born on March 31, 1954 in Sandusky, Ohio and had been a Sandusky resident the majority of her life. She was a 1973 Sandusky High School graduate and she loved traveling with her family.
She is survived by her mother, Mary (Risner) McDavitt Krause of Sandusky; three children, Amanda Stowe of Texas, Ched Swint of Bowling Green and Luke Swint of Bowling Green; two grandsons, Jermey and Weston Stowe of Texas; three sisters, Donna Krause of Sandusky, Mary Tallman of Sandusky and Barb and Ed Herman of Sandusky and several nieces and nephews.
She is precded in death by her father, Arthur McDavitt in 1963; one brother, Burl McDavitt; one sister, Vonda McDavitt-Galez; In-laws Edward and Elizabeth Swint and step-father, James Krause.
Friends may call on at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Monday, December 27, 2010 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM where the funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Reverend David Detwiler officiating.
