Dear Barbara and family,
Edna Ann emailed me about Vic and I cannot tell you how sorry I am. I wish over the years we could have been able to see each other more, but life makes everyone so busy. My mother(Mary Ann Bodmer Chapman)thought the world of Vic and your family. Please know that you are in my prayers.
So sorry this is so late.

Matt Wallace - Sep 1, 2008

Greg and David, I am sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I have only recently been made aware of this sad event. Your dad delivered me into this world on December 21st 1966 assisted by my grandmother Kathryn Wallace RN. He also set the bones in my broken right hand my sophomore year playing football for the Willard Crimson Flashes. Greg you were my first flag football coach aided by your brother David and Sam Swingell. I often think of you, David and Sam as I coach my 8 year old son Michael’s football team. Time certainly Piles up but the “Dolphins” still live in my heart. Our condolences to you and yours.
Respectfully Matt Wallace

I was truly saddened when I heard of Vic’s passing. I am so sorry I did not know about it and therefore was not at his funeral. My condolences and love to Barb, Gregg, Kathy, John, and David. Dr. Emery was a remarkable man. To paraphrase Rev.O’Connell…..the measure of a man’s life is found in his character, optimism, his joy and humor, his courage, his passion for what is good and right, his love of family and friends and how he is loved in return. Dr. Emery was an icon and a pillar to Willard. He will live on in the hearts of all the people he has touched.

ALAN AND BARBARA - Aug 23, 2008

DEAR GREGG

Doc was one of the most compassionate people Willard was blessed to have in the Medical Community. He gave so much to the citizens of Willard upholding his Oath of Hypocrates. We were so blessed to know him. May God keep all of Doc’s loved ones in his loving care. We all share in this loss.

I wouldnt be here if it wasn’t for Doc! He was a great friend that touched 3 generations of my family, and I am sure, many many more. He and his family will most definitely be in my thoughts and prayers. There has never been a man like him, his jovial attitude always brought a smile to my face and my soul. My deepest sympathies to everyone that he blessed.
