Joshua J. “Bonez” Gayheart, age 24, resident of Shelby, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016 following a short illness at the St. Vincent’s Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. He was born on March 1, 1991 in Bucyrus, Ohio. Bonez had worked as a truck driver and enjoyed hunting, fishing, drawing, working as a tattoo artist and most of all spending time with his son and family.
He is survived by his son, Cameron Gayheart; his mother, Corinda Gibson of Shelby; his father, James Gayheart of Bellevue; step-father, Arthur Alsept of Bucyrus; a sister, Amanda Gayheart of Shelby; a brother, Johnathan Alsept of Bucyrus; two aunts, Rebecca Gayheart of Willard, and Lisa Sexton of Shelby; and numerous other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Shirley “Susie” Gibson; and a sister, Angelina Gibson.
Visitation will be held at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM where a funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM. Burial will be private at a later date. Online condolences can be made at www.secorfuneralhomes.com
