A 1976 Willard High School graduate, Julie entered the workforce following graduation. She was a waitress for Hi-Ho, Palmers and Bob Evans in Norwalk, where she worked for over 20 years.

Julie is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jeff Morey; four children, Laura Featheringill Postell (Tommy Beatty), Michael (Jessica) Featheringill, Ricky (Lydia) Featheringill and Kelsey (Cy) Heim; four grandchildren, Izabel Featheringill, Aiden Heim, MJ Featheringill and Lincoln Heim; siblings, Carolyn (John) Garcia, Joanne Cavalier, Charles (Janet) Cavalier, Stephen (Melissa) Cavalier and Patricia (David) Keefer; mother-in-law, Judy Morey; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Julie was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Clint Hall; and father-in-law, Thomas Morey.

A gathering will be held at Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A reception will follow at First United Methodist Church in Willard from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Huron County Humane Society.
