Karen JuDee Jansic, age 74, resident of Willard, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Willard Mercy Hospital in Willard, Ohio. She was born on July 24, 1946 in York, NE to the late Wesley Willard and Pearl Helena (Hansen) Salmen and had been a resident of Willard the majority of her life. She is a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard, Ohio.

She is survived by her husband, James Robert "Bob" Jansic whom she wed on July 15, 1966; two daughters, Tammy Hendrickson (Bryan Winters) of Mansfield and Wendy (Aaron) Barker of Ashland; three grandchildren, Courtney Hendrickson of Mansfield, and Nathan and Nicholas Barker both of Ashland; two brothers, Delno (Leann) Salmen of Lincoln, NE and the late Richard (Marion) Salmen of Las Vegas; and 1 sister, Zona (Leroy) Scheele of Las Vegas.

Friends may call at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 1:00 to 1:30 PM and is where the funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday with Rev. Blanche Tyree officiating. Burial will follow at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Willard. Memorial expressions may be made to the children's ministries at the Trinity Lutheran Church. So sorry for your loss. When our daughter was small , she sewed a cheerleader skirt for her. She cheered with the regular cheerleaders at basketball games. Such a wonderful person. R.I.P. you will be missed
