Karl Milton Link, age 88, of Willard, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at the Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard. He was born March 4, 1920 in Willard, Ohio to the late Herman & Mabel Link. Karl loved God’s word and gave out many Bibles everywhere and enjoyed going to the jail to minister. Any one that met Karl knew he loved Jesus.
He is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law, David (Linda) Link of Springfield, Ohio, Dan (Gina) Link of Willard and Doug (Gogi) Lionk of Yutan, NE; daughter and son-in-law, Susan (Richard) Hoffman of Columbus, OH; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; sister, Mildred (Jim) Jarrett of Sandusky; 2 sisters-in-law, Mary Foreman of Charlotte, NC and Jewel Adams of Willard; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia M. (Lykins) Link and his parents.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 7, 2009 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 P.M. at the Willard Church of God, on Willard West Road, and is where the funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Greg Griffith officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for Gideon Bibles or to the Stein Hospice. It was my pleasure to serve Karl in the months preceding his passing. My sincere condolences are passed on to each member of the Link family. May he rest in peace.

Dad I will miss you and I know I am supposed to be sad, but I can finally understand why the Word of God, blessed is the death of His Saints in the eyes of the Lord. I know you are in Heaven with Jesus and Mom and Granpma and I know you wanted to go Home, so is hard to be sad. Dad you are the best man I have had the honor to know. For the first 50 years I did not realize what a man of God you are, Dad I will see you and Mom at the Eastern Gate when God calls me home.
