Dear family of Karnel,
I am sorry for the loss of your loved one, who was loved by many. She wsa young, with much life yet to live.
Death is such an enemy and is no respecter of age.
Experiencing such a loss,,we may wonder why? or if their is anything to look forward to?
Jesus well knew the Bible statement:” Time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all”[Ecclesiastes 9:11]. He knew that
sometimes bad things just happen.
The wonderful future resurrection hope is the promise found at John 5:28,29.
Revelation 21:3,4 states that in the future ‘ death will be no more. and pain
will be no more, the former things will have passed away.’
Our Creator, Jehovah God, by means of his son Jesus, is going to undo the tragedies that touch our lives today and we will be able to welcome back onto the paradise earth, our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death.
sinerely dianne mullins

Karnel was one of those people in your life that you can’t forget! She was so passionate as a teacher and so giving in all that met her. She was so selfless and caring for everyone she met. Karnel helped me so many times with my business her connections that she had helped me to survive raising 5 kids as a single parent. She is in a much better place now. God has accepted her into heaven, because it wouldn’t be heaven without her!!! Many Happy Returns Karnel!!!

Joan Uzunoff - Nov 27, 2012

I work at Woodland Elementary School. I was able to get to know Karnel while she was a tag teacher for Mansfield City Schools. She was one of the sweetest people I had ever met. I was so sorry to see her leave the school system, but I knew it was for her best interest. She has been greatly missed here at school. My prayers go out to the family. I can not imagine how the children are holding up. Karnel always had pictures of them and would tell me how they were doing. She was a great person, and I am glad she passed through my life.

Lisa Householder - Nov 27, 2012

Deb Noble - Nov 26, 2012

I have met many wonderful people in my life, but there are those who stand out, those whose God’s love shines through. Karnel was one of them! We taught 8th grade together, and later she and Bill bought our house on 61. I was so overjoyed when they were able to fill that house with the two children they had longed for all these years. I have been taught not to question God’s will, but sometimes it is so hard to understand. All week I have been kind of bitter thinking that she was another one of God’s “shooting stars” who leaves us too soon. That is not the case – she is one of God’s shining stars, and her light will long be remembered here on earth, and forever in heaven. To her family, God promises comfort to those who grieve, and please know there are so many people praying that you receive the peace and the strength you need to carry you through these dark days.

I met Karnel when I was secretary at Buckeye East Elementary. We connected right a way. She was so excited when she had Olivia and couldn’t wait to show pictures of her. And how excited she was to find herself expecting Trevor. Karnel was a special teacher who really cared about her students. A beautiful person has left this earth but she will never be forgotten for she has left a wonderful legacy in her short life. May God Bless her family as they go towards the coming days.

Darlene Mortensen - Nov 23, 2012

Nancy & Family,
I was just heartbroken to hear about the lose of your wonderful daughter Karnel, she seemed like such a beautiful soul, so full of life. I remember her bringing Olivia in a few times to Mack’s when she was just a baby, and the love & pride that showed on her face as she talked about her new baby, it was amazing just to listen to her. I’m sure she will be deeply missed by everyone that loved her so. Just sometimes life doesn’t really seem fair at all. I will keep you in my prayers. I know that you all will be strong for each other in the days to come, and always hold her close to your hearts.

Karnel, her mother, Nancy, and the whole Edler family welcomed me to Plymouth when I came to work at the high school in 1982. What was going to be a two or three year career move, has turned into a thirty year stay because of the continual kindness of families like the Edlers. I shall miss Karnel’s warmth and friendship.

Aaron & Cyndi Durham - Nov 21, 2012

Our youngest son Colin was in Karnel’s preschool class at Grace. He loved his teacher and he loves his class. Mrs. Hudson helped with his speech more than any speech therapist ever did in a fraction of the time. I credit his success to her, he has made leaps and bounds since he started this year. Karnel will be greatly missed and our hearts go out to the family.

Ruth Ann Barber - Nov 21, 2012

Lisa O'Grady - Nov 21, 2012

Positive, inspiring and giving with a great sense of humor and an ability to lift others, even from afar. Karnel will be missed by many. Even those she never met “in real life” but who became close to her through her love of an active lifestyle, especially running. I had the pleasure and honor to run with Karnel both in person and virtually through our running forum online. Never to be forgotten is hearing her voice cheering out to me at the end of a 50 mile race in Northern Michigan. I thought I was imagining her there because of her constant encouragement but she had driven all that way and stuck around to be there for my finish. No matter her speed she took joy in participating and competing. A true athlete is one who persists not for any prize but for the sheer joy of competing. Karnel was a true athlete. She has inspired and touched many hearts. Bill and kids- be proud of the woman you had in your midst and model her in your thoughts and actions. She will always be a one of a kind.

Susan Masten - Nov 21, 2012

My heart grieves for Bill, Trevor, Olivia and all Karnel’s family as my mind tries to come to grasp Karnel’s passing. Karnel was a very special member of our running group. Although most of us have never met in real life, we were truly family and Karnel was always there for each of us. She brought us smiles, hugs, encouragement, and laughter. She shared her kids with us, as they would type us messages and send us smiley faces and other emoticons. She shared her love of family, so much so that I feel like I know her husband Bill, her brother, Brian, her granny, her kids. Karnel was one special lady, a kind soul, a bright light that radiates love and peace. Karnel, we love you and will miss you!

Melissa Mullins - Nov 21, 2012
