Ken L. Roberts, age 69, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family, following a long illness with pulmonary fibrosis.
Ken was born to George and Margaret (Waterbeck) Roberts on February 23, 1957 in Plymouth. Ken grew up in Plymouth and graduated from Plymouth High in 1975.
Ken loved to square dance and belonged to the FADS Square Dance Club. He and his wife Louise traveled throughout the state to other clubs to dance. He also enjoyed camping and often times combined the two for a square dance/ camping weekend.
Together they traveled to New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan and Wisconsin to dance.
Ken was a member of the Willard CMA Church. He was part of the audio/visual team and ran sound for services and special occasions. He was also a trustee for over 25 years.
Ken is survived by his wife Louise (Graebner) Roberts, his daughter, Alissa (Mike) Vanderpool and their children Michael and Natalee, his son, Andrew (Monica) Roberts and their daughters, Addi, McKinley, Layla and Crue; his step sons, Eric Crumrine and Brett (Allie) Mellon) Crumrine. Also surviving are his brother Jim (Deb) Roberts, brothers-in-law, Dave Bisel, David (MyLee) Graebner and Mark Graebner, step sister-in-law, Mary Lutz and many extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents, stepmother, Eleanor (Lutz) Roberts, sister, Carol Bisel, step-sister, Judy (Lutz) Beebe, brother-in-law, Richard Beebe, step brothers, Roger, Terry and Jeff Lutz and his in laws, Ed and Martha (Card) Graebner.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Additional calling hours will be on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jim Trainer officiating.
