Kenneth P. Boetcher, age 77, resident of Plymouth passed away Thursday, January 15, 2004 in MedCentral Shelby Hospital unexpectantly. Born January 21, 1926 to the late Harvey and Della (Smith) Boetcher he had been a life long Willard resident recently moving to Plymouth in 2000. Mr. Boetcher attended Willard High School and enlisted in the US Marines in 1943 and served in the Pacific Theatre during WWII. He was employed as a trainman with the B & O Railroad and retired in 1984.
He is survived by three sons, Donald Boetcher of Norwalk; Dennis Boetcher of Toledo; Scott Boetcher of Erie, PA; seven grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
No calling hours or services will be observed at this time. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio at a later date. Memorial expressions can be made to the Norwalk Kidney Center. Secor Funeral Home in Willard assisted the family with arrangements.
