Larry Dean Waddles, age 73, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on September 7, 1945, in Floyd County, Kentucky. Larry is a 1966 Plymouth High School graduate and had worked at Pioneer Balloon Company. He was a member of the Willard Elks and enjoyed reading Stephen King novels.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Sue (LaPoint) Waddles, whom he married on July 15, 1967; brother, Oscar Waddles of Shelby; 2 sisters, Pauline Tuttle of Willard, Pearl Pigg (Paul) of Columbus; and nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Culbert and Lizzie (Osborne) Waddles; biological mother, Lettie Osborne; 3 sisters, Lillian Tuttle, Verna Triplett, June Compton; 2 brothers, Tommy Waddles, Paul Vernon Osborne; and mother and father in law, Dorothy and Edward LaPoint.

Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Ricky Branham officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Willard. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
