Larue H. Gullett, age 92, resident of Plymouth, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at MedCentral Hospital in Mansfield, Ohio. He was born on November 2, 1920 in Saylersville, Kentucky to the late Frank and Elizabeth (Caudill) Gullett and had been a Plymouth resident since 1941. Mr. Gullett retired in 1982 as a supervisor from Ohio Steel Tube in Shelby. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in WWII in Europe. He was a member of the Church of Master in Steuben and the Plymouth American Legion.
He is survived by a daughter, Deborah (Terry) Porter of Kenova, WV; one grandchild; two step-grandchildren; one grandson and one great granddaughter.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Lou D. (Patrick) Gullett whom he wed on June 20, 1939; two brothers, Orville and Ermon Gullett; one sister, Lillie Mae Prater and one daughter, Barbara Funk.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Thursday, October 31, 2013 from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. and where the funeral service will be Thursday at 3:00 P.M. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth, Ohio. Online condolences can be made at www.secorfuneralhomes.com

We have lost a good man with the loss of Larue. He will be sadly missed but your familly caTYn take heart that he is with Lou now. I will miss them both and i am so glad i knew them.

A great loss but we are left with lots of great memories. My mom took care of her little brother when they were young and this lead to a special closeness between our families. Visits were always a special time and something to look forward to. He was the last of the family. This is a sad occasion.
