Leland W. Meyer, age 80, resident of Willard, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard, Ohio. He was born on February 16, 1930 in North Baltimore, Ohio to the late Edwin and Esther (Patterson) Meyer. He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War and employed by Newark Air Force Station as a computer operator.
He is survived by his wife, Laura E. Meyer who he married on July 23, 1950; one son, Lee Meyer of Willard; two grandchildren, Jason Meyer of Willard and Kevin (April) Meyer of Plymouth; six great-grandchildren, Serenity, Brandon, Hunter, Cierra, Thomas and Autumn; and one sister, Wilma Snyder of Toledo.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Esther (Patterson) Meyer; one brother Charles Meyer and one sister, Sue McEwen.
