Leo F. Phillips, age 89, of Willard, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, November 26, 2020. He was born on September 16, 1931 in Plymouth, Ohio, to the late Linus and Blanche (Echelbarger) Phillips. Leo graduated from New Haven High School, served in the U.S. Airforce and was a former member of the Willard American Legion. He had worked at MTD in Willard for 32 years.

He is survived by his wife, Lois E. (Zellner) Phillips, whom he married December 23, 1950; one son, Randall Lee Phillips of Willard; two grandchildren, Brent Phillips of Willard and Lindsay (Brad) Morgan of Pendleton, SC; 2 great grandchildren, Camron and Matthew Morgan of Pendleton, SC; a sister, Martha Ann Postema of Plymouth, OH and 13 nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Donald Phillips.

Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be a private graveside service at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. I was very sorry to hear about Leo's passing. He was such a great person, and I always enjoyed talking to him when we would stop by to visit. Sincere sympathy to all of Leo's family. May God always bless Leo.

So sorry for your loss. Leo was such a kind man. I've lived next to Leo and Lois for a long time I consider them my adopted grandparents. He will be missed.
