Lillian Polachek, age 87, passed away Wed., Feb. 8, 2006 at Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard. She was born on November 4, 1918 in Wheeling, WV and had been a resident of Willard most of her life, graduating from Willard High School in 1937. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard. She was also a member of the Eastern Stars in Monroeville.
She is survived by two daughters, Jean (Jim) Hutchinson and Carolyn (Al) Cummings of Willard; three sons, John, Jim (Ann) of Willard and Richard of Florida; grandchildren Kelli Steele, Traci Handshoe, Eddie Polachek, Angela (Craig) Sneider, Michael (Kristina) Polachek, Michele Polachek, Kathie (Eric) Kammer, Mark Heidelberg, Heath (Vickie) Polachek, Brandi (Tommy) Gayheart, Chip Bailey, Allison (Aaron) Honeycutt, Laurie (Adam) Ousley, Mark (Angela) Cummings and Amy (Dan) Chandler and several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Estella LeMaster of Pittsburgh, PA.and Lucille Andreas of Wheeling, W. Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John on March 27, 2000; her birth parents, George and Margherita (Vanoli) Lagomarcino; her foster parents, Mike and Rose Mudrinic; an infant son, Raymond Lee Polachek; one granddaughter, Krista Batchelor and one sister, Vickie Crain.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where the funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 A.M., with Rev. James Barkenquast officiating. Burial will be at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Willard. Memorials may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church. www.secorfuneralhome.com
