Lorin J. Kraft, age 81, of New Washington, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Willows at Willard. He was born on November 4, 1933 in Crawford County, Ohio to the late George C. and Helen B. (Powers) Kraft. Lorin was a farmer and enjoyed playing cards, horseshoes and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Marilyn R. (Kehres) Kraft whom he married on January 8, 1955; 5 children, Rosanna (Larry) King of Tiro, Samuel (Margo) Kraft of New Washington, Andrew (Sylvia) Kraft of Bucyrus, Belinda (Karl) Yetzer of Shelby, and Paul (Lora) Kraft of Lima; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Phillips of Crestline; twin brother, Florin Kraft of London, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters, Melba Clark, Howard Kraft, Leona Pollock, Robert Kraft, Shirley Stover, Helen Cobb and George Kraft.
There will be a Funeral Mass at the Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in North Auburn, Ohio on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Eric Culler and Fr. Frank Kehres officiating. Burial will follow at the Mother of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery in North Auburn. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Bernard Catholic School or Church and Stein Hospice of Sandusky. I was very sad to hear about Uncle Lorin (Lorny) passing away. He lived a wonderful and full life, and I’m sure he is with God now.
