Louise Brown, age 87, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the Willard Mercy Hospital in Willard, Ohio. She was born in Linside, West Virginia on July 29, 1926 to the late Claude and Bessie (Owens) Thornton. Louise enjoyed bowling, sewing, watching TV and most of all, spending time with her family.
She is survived by four children, Elizabeth “Libby” (Phil) Clemons of Willard, Carl M. “Mike” Brown of Willard, Donald E. Brown of Iowa and Darlene K. (Newman) King of Willard; 5 grandchildren, Laura (Roger) Collins, Shelley (Scott) Bradish, Kelly (Pam) Clemons, Carl Christopher Brown and Sherri Jo Brown; one great grandson, Preston Clemons; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Carl E. Brown, her parents Claude and Bessie (Owens) Thornton, two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Secor Furneral Home in Willard, Ohio on Friday, November 22, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Sheila Burrows officiating.
