Lura "Mae" Oney, 83, of Shiloh, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 at the Willows at Willard. Lura was born on April 28, 1936 in Seitz, Kentucky to Dewey and Zelda Back, now deceased.
A lifetime Shiloh resident, she retired from Kent Sporting Goods in New London.
Lura is survived by her son, Randy Oney of Shiloh; two grandchildren, Randal Oney and Amanda Miller; three great grandchildren; and two brothers, Dillard and Ervin Back of Kentucky.
Lura is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Oney; daughter, Kathy Lynn Oney; and many brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 6, 2020 from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the Ripley Chapel Free Pentecostal Church of God on Old State Road where the funeral service will be at on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Ricky Branham officiating. Burial will follow at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Shiloh, Ohio. Memorial contibutions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Judes Hospital.
