Malcolm retired from MTD Shelby, in 2001. He was a sportsman of all kinds, from basketball and baseball to hunting to golf, and he did them all well. Since July 25, 1981, Malcom was a member of Little Rebecca Old Regular Baptist Church in Plymouth. His true passion was the one love of his life, Betty June Cook, and they were married in Clintwood, Virginia, on July 1, 1961. Malcolm is survived by his wife and six children. Michael (Shari) Branham, of Shelby, Tina Branham, of Plymouth, Darren (Kari) Branham, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Rhonda Mutchler, of Plymouth, Lavonne (Clarence) Wolfe, of Yuma, Arizona, and Glenda Branham, of Plymouth. He was adored by his 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren (number 14 is expected this coming Christmas Eve), who called him "Pop pop", "papa", and "grandpa". He was always there with an encouraging word and a gentle, guiding hand.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Johnny (Hilda) Branham, of Virginia, Elzie (Mae), of Indiana, and Carlos Branham, of Willard, his sister Arcolas (Johnny) Goble, of Willard, and three sisters in infancy. He was also preceded by his son in law, Patrick Mutchler, and his granddaughter, Sydney Marie Downing.

He is also survived by his loving sisters, Hazel (John) Elkins, of Greenup, Kentucky, and Addie (Bob) Langley, of Willard, and his supportive brothers, Donald (Linda) Branham, of Plymouth, and Ronnie (Gracie) Branham, of Shelby. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Edna Branham of Willard.

Family and friends may gather at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio, on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Visitation will continue at the Little Rebecca Old Regular Baptist Church in Plymouth, Ohio, from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM, where a church service will be at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at 11:00 AM, at Little Rebecca Old Regular Baptist Church in Plymouth, with the Elders of the Church officiating. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth. The family asks that any memorial contributions be made to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Lane, Sandusky, Ohio 44870 or to the Little Rebecca Old Regular Baptist Church, in Plymouth, Ohio. Myself and my brothers Gary & Darrell want to tell you how sorry we are. He was a beloved uncle by all of us and especially my brother Gary. Gary has so many special memories of all the times that he and Malcom spent together going to so many sports games together. Your Dad was a wonderful person. Hugs to all of you and especially your Mom. They spent so many years together and it will be hardest for her. Love all of you so much.
