Margaret H. Hafner, age 94, resident of rural Willard, Ohio passed away Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006 at the Willard Health Care Center. She was born on May 10, 1911 in Monroeville, Ohio to the late Joseph and Susanna (Ausberger) Martin and had been a area resident all her life. Mrs. Hafner was a homemaker and a member of the St. Sebastian Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Richard F. and Jean Hafner of Willard; two daughters and sons-in-law, Margery A. and James Elmlinger of Willard; Marie E. and Michael Phillips of Willard; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; one brother, Philip Martin of Monroeville; one sister, Catherine Gerhardstein of Sandusky; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph George Hafner in 1960; three brothers, Albert, Henry and Joseph Martin; two sisters, Carrie Missler and Emma Brown.
Friends may call at the St. Gaspar del Bufalo Cathiloc Church on Saturday, January 28, 2006 from 10 to 11 AM where the funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with Father John M. Nagele officiating. Burial will follow in St. Sebastian Catholic Cemetery in Bismark, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. www.secorfuneralhome.com
