Marie Baker (Tuttle), age 80, died on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at home after a long illness. She was born on July 6, 1939 in McDowell, Kentucky to William and Mary (Tackett) Newsome.

Marie was raised on a small farm and was the middle child of thirteen brothers and sisters. All of her adult life to the onset of her illness, she cared for people with love, patience and faith. She married Orville (Shorty) Tuttle on December 3, 1954. They eventually settled in Willard, Ohio with their 3 children.

Marie retired from Pepperidge Farm after working there for 16 years. She was loved by all who came in contact with her and will be remembered for her sweet demeanor. Marie enjoyed taking trips to Amish Country, participating in church activities and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Seeford Baker; her two daughters, Anna (Dave) Bores and Gail Langhurst; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; her sister, Draxie Myers; and many nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her husbands, Orville (Shorty) Tuttle and Covis Tackett; and her son, Steven Tuttle.

Family and friends are invited to the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Monday, February 17, 2020 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., with a service being held at 5:00 p.m. Marie's funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth. So sorry for your loss. Marie was a sweetheart and we sure had some good times and laughs working on snack stick line! One time I stopped at her house and Shorty made me a cup of coffee so strong I could barely drink it!
