Marilyn C. Hanline, age 66, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at her home. She was born on January 19, 1950 in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Raymond and Marie (Martin) Gates and was a graduate of Attica High School. Mrs. Hanline was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, planting flowers, reading the newspaper, staying in close contact with family and friends, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard.
She is survived by two sons, Timothy (Pamela) Hanline of Shelby, and Tyler Hanline of Willard; a daughter, Tracey (Matthew) Vanderpool of Columbus; three grandchildren, Chloe and Mia Hanline of Shelby, and Kaiden Swint of Sandusky; four sisters, Joann (Gus) Showalter, Sharon (Gerald) Ruffing, Ruth Carroll, and Bev (Ted) Thurston; one brother, John (Mary Kaye) Gates; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hanline Jr.; and a sister, Rose Daniel.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father Eric Culler officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth, Ohio.
