Marjorie H. Shepherd, age 55, resident of Plymouth passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 18, 2004 in Willard Mercy Hospital. She was born December 11, 1948 in Houston, Texas and had been a Willard area resident since 1966. Mrs. Shepherd had been employed with the former Pioneer Ballon Company, Buurma Farms and retired from Pepperidge Farms. She was a member of the Willard Church of God where she enjoyed her church family. Margie was a very loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Anthony L. and Dawn Miers of Galena, OH; David A. Shepherd of Bucyrus; and Dean E. Shepherd of Plymouth; seven grandchildren, Amber Miers, Lauren Williamson, Michael, Miranda, Melissa, Dean Jr. and Christopher Shepherd; her mother, Dorothy (Moore) Miers of Conroe, TX; three brothers, George, Wilbur and Frank Miers all of Conroe, TX; many extended relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orbie L. Shepherd on Sept. 26, 1990 and her father, Paul Miers.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Friday from 5-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the Willard Church of God on Willard West Rd. on Saturday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Greg Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Willard.
