So sorry for your loss. Marlene was one of those special individuals who never saw a stranger and always made you feel welcome no matter where that place may have been! I had the pleasure of growing up with the family and received a lot of guidance from Marlene (she was mom to a lot of us)! She leaves behind so many special memories, not only with her kids, grandkids, great grandkids and great-great grandkids, but to all that knew her. She definitely was one of God’s greatest creations❤️🙏🏻

I'm so sorry to all of Marlene's family, especially Gayle, Brad and Becky, for the loss of such a sweet and personable lady, and the last of my Mom's childhood friends from the East Side. It was always Edna, Marlene, Lucille and Jeddie that my Mom knew and ran around with back on Hayes Street. It was a very special time in my Mom's life getting to grow up and share life experiences with Marlene and the other girls. My Mom was so fortunate to have had Marlene and the others in her life. They all complimented each other so well. My Mom enjoyed Marlene's family growing up, too, and got to know them all very well. I still have the picture of my Mom on my wall that Mr. Berberick photographed and in which my Mom was wearing the dress Mrs. Berberick made for her. My Mom was blessed to have known Marlene as her life long and dear friend, and my sister and I benefited from that friendship as well. Thank you, Marlene.

Gale, Brad, Becky and family, we send our sincere condolences. We have fond memories of Marlene at ballgames. It was fun helping her with the treat bags for the players! She’d say, “do you think that’s enough?”. Bless her heart; she will be missed. Sending hugs and prayers to all.

She was so kind. She knew carnations were my favorite flowers. The day of our high school graduation I came home and she had brought a dozen pink carnations on mom’s porch for me! ♥️ God bless you Marlene🙏

Marlene was a very generous lady. I enjoyed adding cookies to her treat bags. She always had great stories when she picked up the cookies. Thoughts and prayers with the whole Turson family.
