Morgan Marie Patton, age 30, of Willard, Ohio passed away unexpectedly in result to a car accident early Tuesday, December 16, 2025. She was born on December 20, 1994 in Columbus, Ohio. Morgan graduated from Willard High School in 2013. She loved her fur babies, especially cats. Morgan enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She was book intelligent and loved to cook. Morgan was a very caring individual that always wanted to help others that were in need no matter the circumstances. Morgan continues to help people after her passing by being a tissue donor, possibly saving and helping over 200 lives.
Morgan is survived by her son, Jack Ryan Gavarrete; mother, Kelley (Tommy Elmlinger) Keaton; brothers, Zack Keaton, Skylor Patton, Gavin Patton; sister, Mackenzie Patton; maternal grandparents, Robert and Pat Thompson; paternal grandparents, Ralph Patton and Carolyn Hoyt; special aunts, Kim Garcia and Nikki (Roney) Sexton; special cousin, Jessica (Matt) Caporini; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Cynthia (Everett) Eckstein; and maternal great grandparents, Jim and Shirley Hutchinson and Robert and Kay Breyman; and uncle Ed Garcia.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio. Morgan’s funeral service will be on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Leonard officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at North Fairfield Cemetery in North Fairfield, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Huron County Humane Society. Although I don’t know Morgan, I do know her grandparents, Butch and Pat, whom I consider to be good friends. I can’t imagine losing a family member at such a young age, so I’m certainly saddened by this situation. Kind thoughts and prayers are going out for Morgan and her extended family. I’m so sorry to hear of Morgan’s passing. I hope her family will read this message, and even years in the future, find peace. Morgan will not be forgotten. She lives on with her family, her baby boy, her friends and the community that watched her grow up. She didn’t get very much time all grown up, and that’s not fair. This loss is tragic, significant, and it is unfair. But one day years from now you will look at her picture and see her smile and think about her laugh, or silly things she did and you will smile and cherish so much the time she was here. It will hurt now, and will hurt for a long time. You will mourn the life she didn’t get to have. The pain stays quietly, but one day, the happy little memories start sneaking back in and Morgan will make you smile again. There is no grief without great love. You will find pieces of her in all the things she loved, and you will know she is with you. May your family never stop talking about her, never stop saying her name. Morgan and I were roommates a couple years ago and she immediately lit up the room. Always helping someone, making someone luagh, or sleeping lol. This Jeff Patton , Morgans uncle ...first , I want to publicly say , thank you and express my gratitude for each and every of one you all who is sending our family their prayers and sympathy.. Bless you all... As for my baby girl Morgan ....I'm shattered ...my world will never be the same ...this is closest that death has personally touched me and I'm humbled by the pain...never again will I not sympathize for other family's regardless of grudges ect...This pain is real , its huge , and its devastating... Morgan had another family besides the Thompson's , Morgan was ours too...and we loved her even with her " wrinkles " that others in her family chose to well... Morgan was my baby girl ..I loved her dearly from the first day I held her at 3 days old ..im never going hear .." Love you unc" again and that very thought is almost too much to bear ..
